Heightened precautionsPest precautions
Flea bites can cause itching and irritation. Some species can transmit pathogens under specific conditions. A flea report does not establish plague or another disease.
What to do: Look for repeated bites and fleas in the surroundings. Save photographs and ask the property to identify the source and treat affected areas.
These platform-defined accommodation attention levels consider precautions and travel-related spread, not medical severity. Guidance concerns pests in general and does not establish species identification or current hotel conditions.
