Take carePest precautions
The main concerns are allergens, asthma and food contamination. Some household species or egg cases can also arrive in boxes, packages and luggage. Infrequent biting does not mean no health risk.
What to do: Protect food and check bags and packages. Ask the property to address insects or egg cases. People with allergies or asthma should take additional care.
These platform-defined accommodation attention levels consider precautions and travel-related spread, not medical severity. Guidance concerns pests in general and does not establish species identification or current hotel conditions.
